The aircraft registration no. is VH-OJA, named the 'City of Canberra'.
VH-OJA was the first B747-400 built for Qantas and the twelfth B747-400 built by Boeing. VH-OJA holds the world record for the longest non-stop flight by a commercial aircraft from London to Sydney. Total flying time of 20 hours and 9 minutes. VH-OJA was in service for 25.3 years from August 1989, flew 13,833 flights, and carried 4,094,568 passengers over nearly 85 million kilometres. VH-OJA is retired and on display at the HARS Aviation Museum south of Sydney.
